Follow what works is what we typically do. That's what CreatorCatalog follows.
A negative of this is approach is missing the benefits of going into uncharted territory.
In the interview niche of Youtube, the videos are typically chopped down into many parts.
This stretches the interview out, giving you more bang for your buck. Well, SayCheese, after many years of sticking to the norm decided to try another strategy.
It ended up being a hit and is what sparked this post.
SayCheese now releases the entire interview first! This is followed by releases of smaller portions of the interview.
The benefit?
You're no longer teasing the audience and making them wait a month to get all 67 parts of the interview.
And, they appreciate you for it. SayCheese loses nothing. Viewers watch the long form content and they are still there to catch the short videos as well.
If unsuccessful, this approach would be put to bed already.
Shawn, you're a pioneer!
